Make sure to BACKUP files before you attempt any moddings. That way, if something goes wrong, you can always go back to the original settings. This mod has been tested on V3, E398, and V551. Other Motorola models that support skins should work as well. While the position values that I used might not be the absolute values, meaning a combination of other values might work just as well, my method utilizes minimum number of changes to achieve maximum outcome. Feel free to experiment with different values. You could also move the positions of the displays by manipulating values.

My SKI file manipulation method still stands to be working on a new RAZR firmware, 9CR. However, make sure edit Moto ski file after downloading the whole Moto skin files off the phone. Then all you need to do is just upload the modded Moto ski file back to the phone, and restart the phone.

1. Connect your phone to a computer via mini usb cable. Open up phone system files using p2kman.

2. Download all the skin files located under /a/mobile/skins/ to your computer. Save each skins in seperate folders.

3. Now that you have skin folers stored in your computer, open up *.ski file using MotoSkin program. Remember. You'll have to follow these same steps for each skin that you want to use.

4. Click Operator text in the middle window.

In the right window, change the value of Opacity to 255, Outline count to 0, and Position X2 to 0.

Repeat the same steps with Date text and Digital Clock under the Clock menu.

5. Now you see below that Operator logo, Date, and Digital Clock are gone.

6. Next, save *.ski file, and upload it back to your phone using p2kman.

You only need to upload *.ski files, not *.dat files. Make sure to change the file attributes
to 70004 after uploading this file to your phone to make it system file, so that in case you
do Master Clear, this file won't be effected.

7. Restart the phone. Make sure to set your clock as Digital if you haven't already done so.
Go to Settings > Personalize > Home Screen > Clock: Digital

8. Now that you got rid of all the clutters on your main screen, get a killer wallpaper, and enjoy it!
